"Skies Of Blood" is a passionate slow-burner and "Connections" gets a classy remake that brings the album back with an energetic pulse. Having said that, this first-half album takes a bit of adjustment to those coming hot off his best work. Venom is for those fans well settled in Lost Years camp. Favorite track: The Connection.
